About Romania:
Romania was so named because it was a colony of imperial Rome. Communists took power in 1947 and installed a Soviet-style government. Following the execution of President Ceausescu, Romanians ended his reign of repression deprivation and ethnic discrimination. Yet without thorough restructuring of the government, Romania is on the verge of economic collapse.
