Seattle Urban Intentional Community young adults live together in urban neighborhoods and partner with urban churches and ministries to provide after-school tutoring, outreach to homeless kids, ESL classes and assistance to bolster outreach and community service initiatives. Interns gain experience in cross-cultural ministry, training in urban ministry and knowledge of issues unique to the urban environment. Intentional Community houses are located in Seattle’s Central District, White Center, and Rainier Valley.
