Check your current IP address
In case you are using a broadband connection via DSL, cable or wireless, there are tools to check your current IP (Internet Protocol) address. This is the “initial” address where your connection to the internet takes place and it is identified with all your actions on the internet. Web servers send pages from web sites back to your browser using that address. Your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla FireFox etc, present those pages to you on your computer monitor.
